Global Warming

My name is Valli and I am from Grade 8. In English class, we have done a unit opinion & view, and speaking & listening skills, with the theme of Climate. Here is a short poem composed of small haikus, on the theme of Global Warming.

How did this happen?

Warmer every day,
Like flowers on summer day,
How did this happen?

CO2 is why,
It is freezing hot up there,
How did this happen?

Pollution’s the word,
CO2’s the God over here,
How did this happen?

Water’s drying up,
UV rays are seeping in,
How did this happen?
