Two Friends

Walking down the street were two peas in a pod,
My friend, Ms. Cod, and I.

Next, we went to play hog,
Alas, it started raining cats and dogs.

So, we went out to fine dine,
It felt like cloud nine.

Should we go in a car or a boat?
She said, “The ball is in your court.”

Finally, we headed outdoors to camp,
However, I sat burning the midnight lamp.

All this made Dee green with envy,
She even tried to poison me!

So, I sat on the fence, figuring out,
If I stayed friends with Dee or Cod
